The PTO drive shaft is the mechanical part of the tractor that transmits power (PTO) to the implement used. Each PTO drive shaft consists of two couplings connected together by telescoping tubes. The universal joint consists of two yokes (inner and outer) and a transmission cross joint.
PTO drive shafts are available for speeds up to 1,000 rpm, in addition to the series and types mentioned above, versions with recessed buttons and/or ball rings, versions with machine overload protection include:
